主讲人简介

Tony院士的研究集中于探寻植物细胞壁的分子结构，合成机理，生物功能及其产业应用，在Science， PNAS， Plant Cell等期刊发表论文200多篇并担任Plant Physiology， Glycobiology 等杂志编辑。由于他在植物基础研究及其应用领域的杰出贡献，Tony于2008年当选为澳大利亚科学院院士。Tony现担任乐卓博大学农业与食品研究中心主任，中澳植物细胞壁研究中心主任，浙江农林大学客座教授。

Prof Tony Bacic is internationally recognized as a leader in plant biotechnology. He is focused on the structure, function and biosynthesis of plant cell walls and their biotechnological application as well as the functional genomics tools in biological systems. Tony has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers and was elected member of the Australian Academy of Sciences in 2008. Tony is currently the directors of La Trobe Institute for Agriculture and Food, Sino-Australia Plant Cell Wall Research Centre and a guest professor of Zhejiang A&F University.
